- Educational Qualification:
- Postal/Sorting Assistant: 12th Pass from a recognized board.
- Postman: 12th Pass and knowledge of the local language.
- MTS: 10th Pass.
- Age Limit:
- Postal/Sorting Assistant, Postman: 18–27 years.
- MTS: 18–25 years.
- Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

- Merit Basis (marks obtained in 10th/12th).
